The next Internet Society Peering Fellowship 2025 will take place in Lagos, Nigeria; San Salvador, El Salvador; and Manila, Philippines. Selected fellows are required to attend the fellowship in one of these countries. Applications are open for the Internet Society Peering Fellowship 2025, a fully funded international fellowship for young, motivated applicants with the skills and knowledge to improve internet access. The objective of this fellowship is to invite leaders who possess the knowledge and skills to improve internet access, make it affordable and reliable, and enhance local internet interconnection infrastructure while maximizing opportunities that grow the internet and develop the community at peering events. The fellowship will last for six months, and selected fellows will travel to attend the Internet Society Peering Fellowship Program in Nigeria, El Salvador, or the Philippines. Eligibility Criteria
- The Fellowship is open to applicants based in or living in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC), Africa, or the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
- Have a passport valid until June 2026.
- Have at least 3 years of experience in the Internet industry.
- Have reliable access to an Internet connection.
