Candidates who are pursuing a PhD program are eligible to apply for the Google PhD fellowship. The Duration of the Fellowship is from 1 year to 3 Years, depending on the applicant’s location. Google will provide a Fund that will help the Fellows to cover Stipend, Traveling costs, Research costs, and overseas Travel expenses if required. Google will also connect Fellows with the Google Research Mentor. Objective of the Google PhD Fellowship
The Objective of the Fellowship is to help motivated PhD students in terms of Financial expenses who are doing exceptional and innovative research in areas relevant to computer science and related fields. Google will also connect them with the Google Research Mentor.

General Eligibility Criteria
- Google welcomes candidates from all Countries.
- Must remain enrolled full-time in the PhD program for the entire Fellowship duration or forfeit the award.
- Google employees and their immediate family (spouses, children, household members) are not eligible.
- Students currently supported by a comparable industry award are not eligible (government or non-profit funding is exempt).
- Past recipients of the Google PhD Fellowship are not eligible to apply again.
